I have so many wonderful memories of your parents as we were growing up. They were also such good friends to our parents. They were a treasure! Love and prayers! Joni Hornbeck ( VanDorp)

I thought of Walt as my parents' dear friend and my personal mentor. He would always greet me in French and ask how my life was going. He also seemed ageless. I am blessed to have known him.

Mr. Vanderbeek was my home room teacher in 1966. He was the most kind and caring person. He & his wife Marlene later became volunteers at the Wayne County nursing home where I was the activity director. We became good friends. I missed seeing them after they moved but was glad they were near their family.
My deepest sympathy ,prayers and thoughts to their family & friends. Jane from Macedon,NY
