Your MOM and DAD were our friends very early on, when we were neighbors in Maple Hts., when we babysat for each other. We have kept in touch these many years, I had visited him before he moved, and had made up my mind that this month on the 14th/Flag Day, I would make my way to see him again, for his birthday.
My own life has changed, and at 82 I just don't get around much anymore, and friends like MOM/DAD just aren't easily replaced.
