Walter W. Vogel

I did not know Walter, but I did meet him when his daughter, Mary, and my brother married in 1977. Mary also spoke highly and lovingly about her Dad. I'm sure you will all miss him very much. We will pray for you.

Dear Lila and the Vogel Family,

We send to each of you our love and support. Uncle Wally, as I remember him in his youth, was a happy man who made those around him happy, too. I shall always remember how we enjoyed our time in Green Bay, meeting Lila for the first time. He was SO happy to have found the "love of his life".

Walter was a fine man and a very good father and husband. I was always inpressed by his calm demeanor and his willingness to always listen. He loved his family very much and it is hard to think of him being gone. He lived a full life into his 90s and now is resting as he very much deserves. I shall miss playing cribbage with him, even though I rarely won.
