Not sure what to say?

I am truly blessed to have known Wally. Not only were we coworkers, but also shared the love and passion for both basketball and golf. When I saw Wally evaluating a new official at a game I would sit with him and I would say Wally he missed that call or it was a foul, he would say Brenda he is a rookie and I will bring it up to him after the game!!! I learned to be a much quieter spectator at games!!! We shared many stories of golf. Wally will be remembered as a loving husband, father and...

Wally was great man with a kind heart and the ability to make everyone he touched feel good! Wally was, for me, a special college basketball official/evaluator with compassion and passion that will never be replaced! Wally loved golf and I know he will be smiling down and playing his own "special" Carlisle Country Club everyday! Classy man with all the talents and traits we all aspire for!

Classmate and neighbor in New Cumberland, PA - one of the truely
"good guys" you meet during your lifetime. Sincere sympathy to his family.

I had Mr. V. for English at CC, I was in the class of 69. I remember him reading my Christmas poem to the class, and him being in the Joe Hojak trio. I was sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great teacher who I will always remember. God Bless him and his family.

We are saddened at losing Wally. He was a kind man and always a joy to be around. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

Its hard to lose someone as wonderful as Mr. V. He was a great person and he helped us through alot of hard times. He will always be loved and missed beyond control. No one could ever brighten someones day as well as he could, weather it was dressing up like the wizard or just his cheerful personality he always made everyone around him smile and for that he will never be forgotten. We send our condolences to the family and our prayers are with you all.

It's so hard to loose someone to long term illness; however, Wally's kind nature will live on for many years to come. May each of you find peace in knowing that he is no longer suffering and has gone on to a better place where we will all be together someday. I pray for God to give you peace at this sad time of loss.
