Sgt Walt showing off those new stripes. Thank you for your service sir.

Sgt. Walt and my dad, Alvin E Harris, first connected in WWII supporting each other through many trials and tribulations. He had the utmost respect from my Dad and they were able to form a strong lifelong friendship. It was my honor to meet him and Dot to become a friend even after my Dad passed in 2004. A hero. A loving husband and father. He was so proud of his family and cherished his time with them. He is gone but never forgotten. I will miss our phone calls. Rest In Peace good and...

It was a privilege to me to be able to meet him and get to know him better even after my Dad passed in 2004. An honorable man who loved his dear wife Dot and family so much. A true hero. A man of honor. A loving and devoted father. God rest your soul. You will be missed but not...

To the Waldron Family: I worked with Walt at PGW for many years and will always remember his dedication and can do spirit. I have many fond memories of those days. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Dad, I'm missing our morning calls and you saying 'How's my girl?' and 'What can I do for you?'. It's hard looking at your apartment and everything boxed up. ...
