Not sure what to say?

Donna, we think of you so often and pray that things are getting better for you. Walter was amazing in so many ways as are you. One of my fondest memories of Walter was during VBS, he would take the boys who were difficult and spend time with them, talking with them, it really made a difference.
You both were so faithful and such a blessing to us and the body of Christ. Sending you a big hug.-Marti

Dear Donna,
I am was sorry to hear about Walter's passing. I know that your comfort is in Christ, but I also know that the future of unknowns and loss of companionship will be difficult. I pray that you will have wisdom, guidance and direction as you need it and above all that the Lord will fill the empty places in your heart and life.
I always looked forward to seeing you when you came to visit.
My life has been enriched knowing you and Walter. I don't know if you will be coming...

Steve and family I was deeply sadden to see your fathers name in the Herald obits which I check often even though I am now back in Jackson, Michigan enjoying family members after 36 years in Venice. I never knew of Walter's background along with his height and his devotion to our country and our Lord, he as you were and are dedicated to your clients as financial advisors which made Elene's including my life most comfortable over the years which we both thank you for your advice and services....

To the Wanvig Family,

On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Walter's passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and all SUBVETS and their families have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Walter will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin and a great Patriot.
