Not sure what to say?

Thank you for all of the great postings about my Grandfather, Walter Weir. His family truly knew how wonderful of a man he was, and how luck we were to be his family. However, reading your comments have touched my heart more than any of the newspaper articles, pictures or scrapbook of certificates. I always knew what an impact he has had on my life, but to see how he has touched so many lives and is so respected by his peers is yet another of his wonderful accomplishments. Thank You!!!

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Sincere sympathy to the entire family from National City Bank.

My deepesy sympathy on your loss. I had the honor of working with Walt in the City of Duquesne and he was a great gentleman and a great polic officer.

Tom & Lisa,

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your father. As difficult as it is for now, please know that he can now rest in peace. And may you be comforted in knowing that others pray for him and for your entire family.

I have fond memories of Chief Weir from the many PA Chiefs of Police Conferences that I attended with my husband. His family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
