My sister Lilian Popp was a teacher at McKee High School and I remember having the pleasure of meeting Walter. Lilian always spoke very highly of Walter, May he rest in eternal peace.

To the Werra family. So sorry to hear that Walter has passed away. He was a GREAT man & loved by not only his family, but his friends too. He taught me so much re: ASL & Deaf Culture. I last texted w/ him on June 2, 2022 & he was joking about SURPRISE, a text from him in Surprise AZ. I will miss not hearing from him through text. Rest In Peace Walter with your Savior in Heaven? Praise be to God the Father Almighty, I´m sure you can now HEAR His voice!
