Not sure what to say?

I came across your dad's obituary and would like to extend my condolences. I knew your parents many (many!) years ago and they were kind to me when there was nothing in it for them. To me, that is a mark of true character. They were both honorable people. I remember your dad answering the phone at home, "It's your dime so start talking." Again, I am sorry for your loss.

A very good Telephone Man! A very good Family man!

Uncle Walt is what we called him, even though he was actually my mom's uncle. As a kid I always thought he looked like Jack Lalanne, he was always so fit and had perfectly groomed hair! So helpful, he'd act grumpy about doing a project for you but you knew he loved doing it. What a fine man, they don't make them like that anymore. Love to the family,

Brooke Haack
