Walter Whitman

I wish to convey my condolences to Elizabeth, family and friends of my very dear friend Walt. I had the most distinct honor to hire Walt right after he left the service. It is difficult to say how special he was in every way. There are many special people but Walt was far and away the most outstanding person I have ever worked with.

I had the pleasure of working with Walt from his early days at Interstate Motor Freight throughout the rest of his career in IT. He was a great friend with a great sense of humor and one of the best computer programmers I knew. Will miss him.
