Not sure what to say?

My sincere and heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dear Father. Walter and I worked together for many years at Roche Vitamins and I always remember him as a very kind and meticulous man. Wanted you to know that I think of Walter every time I wash clothes!! :) He told me once that his clothes never came out better or felt better on him after he started washing them in a second rinse cycle...I do the same with all of my clothes now and think of him literally every time I put the...

Wendy, Greg and Tom,
Your father and I started working for Roche the same year, 1962. Until he retired we worked together on various projects and problems. As you well know, he was efficient and had an outstanding knowledge of how to make everything work the right way the first time! There are two things I will never forget about your father: When we were attending the Roche 25 Year Club dinners we usually sat at the same table. Your father started with Roche about 3 months after me,...

My sincere condolences to Walter's family. He was always a kind and courteous individual, helpful to all, and knowledgeable of the industry. He will be missed.

I worked with Walter at Roche for many years and he was a wonderful person to work with. He always had words of wisdom to share and he will certainly be missed. My prayers are with your family and may his delightful memories bring joy to all of you.

knew and worked with walter almost 25 years. cannot express how highly i thought of walter! he was always 100% willing to do anything to help people. he made my years of work so much easier. and more importantly, i was a better person just for having known walter. may god speed your healing process.

I remember attending cookouts at your house and your Dad and whole family was always welcoming to me and my son, Lance. Your Dad worked with mine (Tony Koss) at Roche, and they both had company cars (Chevrolet Celebrity's). Your Dad's car worked fine and mine had a lemon that was in the shop constantly. Your Dad went out of the way to give mine a ride to work many, many times while his lemon vehicle was being repaired yet again.
He will be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with you...

Wendy and all: I just opened the e-mail which brought me this sad news. Walter helped me so much at Roche that I cannot begin to tell you about all of our experiences. He was a pillar of honesty, and had the ability to get along with everyone. His even demeanor often raised our spirits when things were gloomy. Here was a man who was dedicated to his family and friends, and always "delivered" for his company. Knowing that he has left us leaves us all poorer...knowing how he lived his...

Walter was a stand up guy, and I feel proud to have known him and worked with him. May he rest in Eternal Peace.
