Walter T. Wrobel, age 89, of Hebron, IN formerly of Midlothian, IL passed away June 2, 2021.


USMC Korean War Veteran.


Survived by his loving wife Virginia Wrobel; children Walter D. (Carol) Wrobel and Lisa Wrobel; grandchildren Matthew Sanders and Stephanie Baker; greatgrandchildren of Evan, Serenity, Carter, Corinna, and Violet; siblings Larry Wrobel, John Wrobel, and Carole Rutkowski; and many nieces and nephews.


Preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Wrobel; and siblings Philip Wrobel, Mitch Wrobel, Ted Wrobel, and Bernice Jachim.


Walter worked for Whiting Corporation for 54 years.


Visitation Sunday June 13, 2021 from 2 – 6 PM at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St Midlothian, IL 60445.


Funeral Monday 9:30 AM prayers at the funeral home going to St Christopher Church for 10 AM Mass.


Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
