Walter Clyde Young

I always remember Uncle Walter's love for us, when we would visit Sacramento, from Los Angeles. He openly welcomed us into his home.

Uncle Wally introduced me into the great outdoors when he took me on his rout to the sporting good stores that he sold equipment to. He allowed me to go with him on several trips to the Lake Tahoe area and when Gary went along he took me into the back country lakes to fish. Lake Tahoe eventually became my wife and children´s favorite water skiing vacation destination. I actually still have the very first Mitchel 300 spinning reel that I received as a gift from Wally. Uncle Wally was one of those men that other men look up to; I know my dad did (Darwin Sowles) and I have for as long as my first trip into the outdoors.
