Walter Zukowski, 71 of Montague, NJ, entered eternal rest Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his home. He is the beloved husband of Marilyn M. (Witkowski) Zukowski, beloved father of Michelle L. Zukowski and beloved grandfather of Riley J. Everett. Walter was born in Germany on March 25, 1949 to Pauline (Olschewski) Zukowski of Rochester, NY and the late Wayne Zukowski. He served our country faithfully in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  Walter was an Auto Body Specialist for Brinton Auto Body in Westfield, NJ for many years until retiring in 2020.     


SURVIVORS:


In addition his to mother and his wife of 49 years last May; daughter: Michelle L. Zukowski (James Mugavero) of Deer Park, NY; grandson: Riley J. Everett; siblings: Erika Zukowski-Oritz of Rochester, NY, Werner Zukowski (Irina) of Riegelsville, PA; nieces: Crystal Ortiz (Marvin Correa), Nancy Oritz (Jay Barrett), Melissa Zukowski; nephews: Phillip Bartkovich (Lori), Werner A. Zukowski, Michael Zukowski, Steven Zukowski, Alex Zukowski.     


SERVICE:


Family and friends are invited to call 11 – 12 noon Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown, PA followed by the service at noon.   The interment will conclude services at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown. To the Zukowski family. We were sorry to hear about the loss of Walter. My husband Kevin worked with him at the body shop. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. The McCracken family

Walter was a legend and we will miss you dearly. We will always remember the wonderful memories we shared with Walter. Walter was our best man and will always be our best man. There wasn't anything Walter couldn't do and when he did it he did it perfect! Our hearts go out to Walter's family and all that loved him.

Sorry to hear of Walter's passing,He was a great guy.I haven't seen him in several years,but remember the fun times we had when we went to Pulaski NY salmon fishing.Walter was the type of guy that would help anyone with anything.He had the ability to fix almost everything.May God bring you Peace through this difficult time

So sorry to hear of Walters passing. Though we were cousins we really didn't get to grow up together. I will remember the good times when we did get together for some family gatherings. We will miss the storys he shared and his constant joking and ever present smile. He will truly be missed by all.
