I was so sorry to hear of Mrs Alford's passing. I so loved seeing her and Mr Alford at the Tulelake -Butte Valley fair and at their grandkids in Tulelake's basketball games when they came to Dorris. It had been many years since I had last seen them when they saw me at a basketball game in Dorris where I was now living and working. They saw and recognized me before I had spotted them.
