Not sure what to say?

Dear Cooke Family, I was searching Wanda's name today (though as I knew her, "Ms. Torrieri") and was so sad to learn of her passing in 2009. She was my kindergarten teacher, and her kindness and patience that year, shaped my life in profound ways. I am a career special ed teacher, and am writing a resource book for families of neurodivergent children. In one chapter, I talk about the importance of recognizing the people who have shaped your life, and as an example, I wrote about her. I'm...

Dear Cooke Family -

We welcome the chance to let you know again how sorry we are about Wanda. She was a wonderful person who truly made this world a better place. Even though she's gone, the love she gave lives on in so many hearts.

Michael, Leslie, Andrew, and Annie Weber

Dearest Wanda....I miss you and your wonderfully kind friendship. You were the sister I chose and I am so happy to have the memories of teaching at Gunpowder Elem., tea, movies, American Idol, and family get-togethers! I am honored to have spent your last days of your journey helping you (and your family)
leave this life for the next. I will never forget your smile or your laugh or that last hug. Please be the first to meet me when it's my turn to come into that heavenly light. Love...

To the family of Wanda Cooke,

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a student in Ms. Torrieri's kindergarten class at Gunpowder Elementary many years ago. I happened to run into her at the end of October last year in a restaurant shortly after her father had passed away. She remembered my whole name. I just wanted to share this moment with you because it meant so much to me. She was a wonderful teacher and someone that I will never forget. God bless.

Dear Ross and Family

I was saddened with the loss of Wanda. She and I were cheerleaders at Overlea and she was truly a wonderful person.

Dear Ross and Family,

We are very saddened by Wanda's passing. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
You are in our thoughts and prayers,
Pat, Mike, David and Katie
