Wanda Sturgis Frost

In 1979, as a "relatively new" employee at South Central Bell/BellSouth, I transferred from Mobile to Birmingham. Wanda was my first Birmingham supervisor. She was a good supervisor who trained this "young green" employee to become a knowledgeable employee in a " totally new" department such that I was promoted to a subject matter expert (SME) at the downtown corporate South Central Bell/Bellsouth headquarters. Bonnie and I have many wonderful memories of boat rides on Lay Lake in the 1970s with Wanda and Drew. Also many visits to their first home in Homewood and a long train ride together to New Orleans. A very special memory is having dinner at our apartment when they told us that Wanda was pregnant with Rachel. Wanda was a beautiful person, so kind and good and so much fun to be around. She will be missed. Ron
