I enjoyed many delightful conversations with Wanda in my early days in Dayton. I am a pianist who came to Dayton in 1991 as resident conductor for the Dayton Opera and an assistant conductor to Isaiah Jackson. Wanda was always so gracious; we enjoyed a bond as pianists.
