EDINBURG - Wanda M. Lanham, 74, of Edinburg died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 17, 1933, in Edinburg, the daughter of Ed and Ora Hunt Pierce. She married John M. Lanham on April 15, 1953; and he preceded her in death in 1996.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I do know that Wanda was a special person. She was always so friendly and smiling ear to ear. I always enjoyed hearing about her trips with Barb Richards. They were always so close. She will be sadly Missed by all.

Wanda was a very good friend of mine,and also a neighbor for several years.She always had a smile and something good to say about everything and everyone.She will be saddly missed and was loved by all.Now she'll be with Johnny and rest of her family and friends. We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Wanda- she was a very nice lady. It was nice to visit with her when she would stop by to see my Dad while he was in the hopsital. I know he enjoyed the visits too. She was a special lady and always had a smile on her face and something nice to say!

Wanda's family,Was so sorry to hear about Wanda.I lived down the street from her for many years, and always enjoyed visiting with her.She always had a smile on her face and always had a good word for and about everyone.She was truly loved and will be missed by all.Again I'm so sorry.

To Wanda's family: I have known Wanda all my life. I just saw her at Harry Hallowell wake and had no idea this would happen. Wanda & I even shared rides to work at one time to Franklin Life. I'm sure she will be missed by all of you. Please accept my condolences.

My sympathy to all of you. I stayed with Wanda and her family to finish out a year of high school. They were all so nice to me.

I'm real sorry to hear about your grandma. Wanda was always really nice to me. She always handed me popsicles when I went over to her house. I'm sorry that I can't come to the funeral. I have to go to school. My mom is bringing a card I made for Wanda. She was a nice lady and I will miss her.

Wanda was a such a good neighbor to Mom, Len and the rest of our family. I always remember wandering over or driving by and see her and Johnny sitting out in the driveway, in their lawnchairs.
