I'm sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We called her Aunt Joy. My brother John and sisters Tereasa and Christine loved the times we spent together. She was always direct but sweet and caring. Our mother Ala Mae was much better off for having had such a happy, strong sister in Joy. She was always a very giving and active during our upbringing and we loved the times spent with her at our place off of Harpersville road and at her home on Roanoke Ave.

My Aunt Joy always brought joy! She also would snap you to attention when a line was crossed. I am so glad you lived a wonderful, powerful and long life. You are unforgettable and lead this family forward! You're always in my heart! Say hello to my Mom in heaven! Love, John
