Wanda L. McQuary

Last week we lost a very important person to my sister's and I. Wanda and my mother Shirley Schopf were best friends. I have such wonderful memories of coming home from school and Wanda and Mom would be sitting in the kitchen and laughing their heads off. Wanda became a second mother to my sisters and I. She was so gentle and sweet and caring and always had a positive word for anybody that came into her life. She held my hand in some very emotionally major issues and never judged. I have...

My prayers for Kerry and Jackie and family. Wanda was a friend to our family for many years and especially had become near and dear to me in the past 3 years after my mom, who was also her close friend, passed away. My family and I were neighbors of Wanda and her husband Mike when they lived in Shelter Bay in LaConner. Wanda was such a sweet and gentle lady who always had a cookie or treat for my daughters when they were outside playing. After Mike passed, and Wanda moved, we lost touch.
