I'm so sorry for your loss. What a force your mother was! How proud you must be.

I was making my list of what I wanted to say to Wanda when Cathy called to tell me she had flown away to Heaven. I knew Wanda's family of origin and her own children, thus a historical friendship!! Oh, the wonderful trips and occasions we shared over decades. I will miss her terribly, but she lives in my heart in happy memories ...my fellow Texan.

I miss dear Wanda. I appreciated her in every way. She was kind in every way. I can still see her walking to cafe with her big rim hat. I will always treasure my memories of Wanda.
