Hi Jan,

Thank you for reaching out to us! Your mom was an angel and my mom loved her very much. She thought of your mom daily and her heart never recovered after her passing. I'm happy to know that they are reunited and with their husbands! They are forever with us and watching over us! Please give our best to your family and God bless!

Cindy and John,

Just now read of your mom's passing....we are much saddened. Wanda was one of mom's best friends in Long Beach...Kathy Cleveland. Both your parents had so much fun with both of our folks (Bob & Kathy).....they are all together now laughing and lovely in heaven. We just had the 1st anniversary of our mom's passing (Aug 26) so we truly feel for your loss. Love and hugs, Jan Cleveland

I'm so sad and sorry Cynthia. Healing heartfelt hugs my dear. I just know what you meant to her.

Wanda is a person who made us better and the world better by her being. She definitely lives in me. Always kind, always positive, caring, interested in us as people. She had a spark of fun. When we were young, we always knew going to The Sewak's for Christmas was a highlight of the season. We looked forward to the invite. As I am older.... and have interacted with many people over my life, my rememberance of Wanda, is "oh wow," what a special and unique person. She lives in me when I think of...

Thank you Maurine, touching words about my mother!

I so enjoyed being with your Mom in Associate Guild. She had the best personality and was so fun to be around. I was lucky enough to be in Entre Nous when I was at LBCC and think it was great that she founded it.
I will remember her always!

Thank you Vickie and Jane for your kind words about my beautiful mother. I really miss her smile and laughter as well as her tender heart! And of course, the Christmas decorations! But I am so grateful to know her friends who have been there with our family for a lifetime! Sending much love back to you all!

Cindy, I just loved your Mom and she was such a special person. My parents and yours were good friends but she and my Mother were especially close for many years.

I will always think of your Mother at Christmas time and all of her special decorations. She will be missed by so many people and has left a marvelous legacy in Long Beach through all of her philanthropic work and sweet personality.

Rest assured she is at peace with your Father.

Dear Family, as a long time friend of Wanda's through Nightingales, Associate Guild, and Miller Children's Hospital Auxiliary I am saddened to hear of her passing however will remember her so fondly. The Obit said it so well all the things I remember her for. Condolences to the family, she lived life well. May she now reunite with John and rest in peace. She was really a special lady.
