Not sure what to say?

Oh my goodness. I am so sad coming across her obituary. Mrs. Tygart was my music teacher at Chapel Hill Elementary School in the early 70´s. She was the kindest teacher I ever had, so lovely, and she was exemplary in her teaching methods. We learned so much, with various instruments, music theory, and in our large repertoire of choir songs. She had a huge influence on me in continuing my appreciation of music. Single Memorial Tree

I taught elementary music in NKC and enjoyed talking with June at music meetings and Orff workshops. I was very impressed with her piano students who went to Gashland.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Sat next to June in the soprano section of the Independence Messiah Choir for several years. Her sister, Mildred Talcott, was my sixth grade teacher in the mid 1970s. Remembering both of them.

Condolences to the family. My mom considered June her life long best friend. They taught music in the North KC School District and remained in touch. Mom is heartbroken. We are all very sorry to hear the news.

A wonderful music teacher that poured her heart and soul into every performance.

Christie so sorry to see your mother passed. Although my daughters didn't have much interest in their piano lessons, I so appreciated her time and her patience. My deepest sympathies.
