Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to your family during this time. Wanda shopped with me at Malouf's in Lubbock during this past year and I addored her. She and I would spend hours looking at clothes while she told me stories about her life. She always made me laugh and brought so much fun energy into my day!

II Corinthians 5:6-8 “Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I...

Dear Jon and Micah,

What a wonderful and precious person your mother was. She was a dear friend to my mother and I have such fond memories of her spoiling us when we were growing up! She was and is an angel and I am grateful that she is at peace. I am sorry I cannot be there with you today to celebrate her life. May we all learn from her example of friendship, grace and selfless giving and may you find peace and solace in the coming days. Blessings to you all.

I extend my heartfelt sympathy to your family over the loss of your mother. What a wonderful example she was to me in the way she cared for others. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs Weaks (dare I call her less?) was truly an inspirational teacher. She motivated me to do my best and to accept nothing less.

Jon, Micah and family,
My deepest sympathy to you all. I am living proof of the wonderful teaching your Mom gave to so many. I was so pleased to have Wanda as one of my Sunday School teachers at Grace Presbyterian and learned so much through her graciousness, kindness to others, and deep sensitivity for all of life's little bumps in the road. Wanda truly exemplified God's direction to each of us. Her ability to always love everyone is a true testament of her life! Her caring of...

I'm still reeling from the news of Wanda's death. She was my mother's best friend for decades, and my 'other mother' all of my life. I grew up spending holidays and vacations with Wanda, Bill, Jon and Micah, and some of my best memories of my youth are of Wanda. She was always the first one there whenever there was an illness or death, and she truly saved my life when I was going through cancer in the early 90s. She stayed with me before, during, and after that whole experience, and made the...
