Wanda Fagin Wilder

I went into the library today (August 2nd) and asked if Ms. Wanda was out of the hospital yet. I was floored when I found out that she had passed away. I was favored to have been able to share one Saturday with her along with another reader as we discussed books we'd read. I remember her saying that she read many urban novels because they gave her insight into SOME of the youth of today.

mrs. wanda was a nice sweet person who didn't met no stranger she took special liking to my son alexander since was two years old. he would look forward to see mrs wanda when he come to the library. mrs. wanda often said to me that my son alexander acts the her son act when he was that age. she will be miss she was a lovely person my son alexander will miss her yours truly alesia, alexander, ashley

I am deeply sadden to hear about this great loss.I knew Wanda when I was growing up as a child. She was a kindhearted and loveable person and I always will remember her smile, a smile that could brighten a room. My condolences go out to the family and friends and I will keep you all in my prayers.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
