Wanda Jean Williams

Wanda Jean Burt Williams (Brownie) age 56, of Canton Ohio. Born January 21, 1955 went home to be with the Lord at Mercy Medical Center on March 10th 2011, following an extended illness. Wanda was born and raised in Canton Ohio, where she attended school. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Wanda was born to the late Algie Burt Sr and Daisy Walker, Wanda was the beloved wife of the late Sam Williams Jr. In addition to her parents and husband, Wanda proceeded in death by her two sisters; Glenda Burt and Ella Long and Four Brothers; Algie(Henri Lou)Burt Jr , David Burt Sr, Edward (Debo) Burt, and James Long Sr. Wanda touched many lives with her two-step dance and her warm personality. Her beautiful brown eyes and bright smile has captured our heart Brownie will always be remembered. Wanda enjoyed traveling. Wherever she went , she made friends and was always the life of the party. Wanda enjoyed Cooking and sharing her soulful meals with everyone who was around her. Wanda would spend her time around the house watching DVD's movies and her favorite TV channel "Life Time'. Wanda enjoyed laughing and playing with children and hanging out with her family and friends. We all know she was the real deal! Wanda will be forever remembered by her surviving three children, Charles Geno Burt Sr of Belmont , Dorothy Jean (Kevin) Bradford of Canton Ohio and Celestine Robinson Burt of Oakland California. Six grandchildren, Charles Geno Burt Jr, Santina Burt, Deniro Isiah Conner, Larry Chauhan Ward Jr, Jeremiah Burt and Lorenzo Prophet. Two Great grandchildren Charles Geno Burt III and Sa'MiyrahTurner. Six Sister Dorothy Farmer of Canton , Daisy Mae(Elijah) Nix of Sheldon SC, Paula Ann(Peter) Clark of Canton, Norma (Ronald) Brown of Canton, Catharine Burt of Canton and Annie Long of Canton. Six brothers, Paul (Deborah) Burt of Canton, Glenn (Arvilla) Burt of Canton, Henry Burt of Butner NC, Louis(Mary) Haddot of Pittsburg PA, Booker(Thelma) Long Sr of Canton and Gerald (Terri) Long of Canton. Numerous of nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends. Wanda leaves behind a special long time friend Joe Evans, of Cleveland Ohio. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00am in City Hope United Methodist Church. Calling hours one hour prior from 10-11am.
