Lovely LADY. Knew her when we were just very young children. She was the only marble champion I ever knew. She came from a very lovely family. I have great memories of her and Dolly.

My sister and I were just talking about jeans and a memory of Wanita popped into my head. Because I admired Wanita so much, I begged my mother to buy me a pair of dungarees, as they were called then. She and I were friends and playmates until she moved away sometime after she won the National Marble Contest. I often tell friends about her. She was also in the Encyclopedia Brittanica. We had it in our 5th grade classroom. She was also on a television show singing. She was pretty much...

Dolly, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Nita when she was 9 years old and the marble champion. I was in her parade that was held in her honor. I will keep you in my prayers and continue our friendship. Rita and Joe send condolences also.

My sincere condolences to Dolly, Teri and family. Nita was a very dear friend. We were both friends of Bill W for over 40 years. We both supported and were there for each other no matter what was going on in our lives. She holds a special place in my heart. She always called me her go to Jesus person. I was always amazed at her faith. She s now at peace and rest with her Jesus. I will miss our talks My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am sadden by the passing of Nita. I have know her for over 40 yrs. I have alot of memories from over the years. Nita was friendly and funny and soft spoken. Dolly and Teri are in my thought at this difficult time.
