I’m super sad, as I know most of us are, to learn about Ward Gonzalez..... One of my most favorite people & an all around standup guy. My Fav memory of Ward will always be the freestyle rap battles between him & Jerome Howard Jr., almost every other day in Homeroom. I’m thankful to have watched him grow into an amazing Husband, Father & Man, passionate about social justice reform, about life & about his family. Fly High Brother....

Ward was a wonderful person with a great soul. He was a great husband and father, "A girl Dad". He loved his family so much. I will continue to keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers. It's still so hard to believe he's gone. May he rest in peace.
