Ward Oubre passed away in New Orleans, Louisiana. The obituary was featured in The Times-Picayune on August 6, 2007.
I was saddened to read of Ward's passing. I went to high school with him and can still remember his smiling face. I also remember him spending lots of time at the Gramercy swimming pool. My prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
