Not sure what to say?

My wife and I served in the Peace Corps with Warner in Malaysia. We did not know of his death until just recently. He was a friend, and we are delighted to learn of his success with his career and his family. We send best wishes to his family and loved ones.

I was extremely saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Karshner. He helped me through some extremely rough times in the past few years. His office was my safe haven when I didn't know where else to go. I can only begin to imagine the pain of his family, but please know in this hard time that Dr. Karshner has brought hope to so many people and without him I would not be sitting here today. Thank you.

Gayle, Gary, Diane and families,
I have never believed that credo that God never gives one more than you can carry! Surely Warnie's superb energies were needed somewhere in our universe imminently. Your family has given much to that realm. If only the Balm in Gilead could heal your sadness! We send our love to keep you all warm. Look forward! You are all in our prayers. Heartfelt sympathy to you all. I hope Craig was there to welcome Warnie in his crossing. Celebrate all the best...

Dear Gayle, Gary and Warner's Family,
I'm so sorry to read of your loss. My sympathy to all of you. It's been a long time since CES.

"Warnie"' & I had a lot of good times growing up in the 60's and those times & our friendship will never be forgotton.

To Warnie's family;
I was shocked and saddened to read of Warnie's sudden death. The earth is poorer for his loss; yet we are richer in our hearts for having known him. Though I have not seen him in years my memories of CES and AHS are replete with his ever present smile and kindness and utter genuineness. He was and is a bright star.

Warnie will always be remember by me as a fun person. Our long walks to CES together with Albert and Gayle Frakes and Gary helped to make the time go faster. My heart goes out to Gayle, Gary, and Warnies wife and children at this difficult time.

Dear Gayle and Gary,

Our hearts go out to you both for your loss; may you be comforted...

In the fields of Heaven we hope Warnie is dancing: the end of a life well lived and a new beginning in joy.

Gayle and Gary: Like so many others have noted, I am stunned in disbelief that we have lost Warnie. We were involved in so many common endeavors in our high school years that I often forgot he was younger. Not long ago when he was here to help Gayle during her loss, Warnie and I had a chance to catch up on many things. I can only say that I have always admired his accomplishments and will truly miss him.
