Warren was born on September 26, 1932 and passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Warren was a resident of Grand Marais, Minnesota at the time of his passing. He received his degree at Augsburg College. Warren served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was married to Lorraine. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 25 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Grand Marais at 11 a.m. Pastor Mark Ditmanson will officiate. Gifts in memoriam will be accepted for Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center through the Warren Anderson Memorial Fund Grand Marais State Bank PO Box 100 Grand Marais.
I met Warren when traveling to South Korea with my dad and other Korean War Veterans in 2013 ( I think). I enjoyed his company and his conversation. I am so glad that we kept in touch after the trip. I will think of him every Veteran's Day.
