Warren and Vivian were like parents to me. Back in the 1950s and early 1960s, we were required to address all adults as "Mr. and Mrs" and the heads of the Burklund family were no exception. Anyway, as a friend of the family, I enjoyed many a car, camping, and occasional boat trip with the Burklunds. I can remember Warren and Vivian singing harmony in the front seat of the station wagon and it was on one of these trips that I experienced my first stop at a drive up hamburger place on Aurora...

We are saddened to hear of Warren's passing. We have fond memories of you two. All the times we saw you coming and going from the Hunter Bay dock on your boat and discussing the victories and woes of our beloved Huskies. We think of you often. GO HUSKIES!!
