Not sure what to say?

I will always remenber Warren, even though we did not always agree I respected him as Mayor and also a friend he will surely be missed.

I remember Mayor Copeland being my advisor at Wittenberg University. I was nervous and a scared kid with a culture shock from the inner city of Cincinnati. He taught me how to change a tire when he took me on a tour of Springfield. I transferred to Clark State and he came to watch me play basketball. He was a great man.

Dear Clara and family... I was so sorry to hear about Warren. My thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace during this time. Mary

Miss you Warren you're a sweet man

Warren and Clara were woven into the fabric of my life early as we attend MacMurray College with them. Warren lived across the hall and we would debate many issues over the four years. It became clear to me that Warren had a unique skill to discuss and create effective messages. A trait he improved and honed over many years. He led a purposed filled life and was a light to his family, church, school and community. What a model for a life well lived. David Enlow

Warren and Clara were true friends of wildcat athletics. They supported all the teams and were always visible in the stands as wildcat supporters. I valued his friendship over the years and I hope that Springfield will cherish his legecy. Greg & Sue Newland

I was sadden to hear of Mayor Warren Copeland passing I remember so well him voting for myself not once but twice for commissioner and working with him and I will always remember his delegation as Mayor my prayers go out to his wife Clara and the family he will be missed.

Warren and Clara have been friends for a number of years. His friendliness and sense of humor will be missed. He was dedicated to whatever he did.
