Not sure what to say?

I miss you my friend, ILA memories never get old. Your passage on this earth had meaning, because I still can see and hear your voice in my head when I think about you. You were a great addition to my life experience. Stay with us.

I worked with Warren at Univ. Minn , Dept of Rhetoric. He was a wonderful man and an excellent mentor. Always willing to help students and student organizations. Even after all this time, I am sorry to hear of his passing. He and his family were always very good to me and remember them so well. His office was next to mine. It always looked like a storm had gone through it. It was wonderful. He was wonderful.

I took one of his Effective Listening classes he taught at the U of Minn in the mid-90s. One of the things that was discussed was the CBS Sunday Morning How on Sundays on channel 4 in the Twin Cities. To this day, when I dial it up, I remember Warren and how he thought it was one of the best shows on TV. I have come. To the same conclusion, and have watched it ever since. Thanks Warren. You are missed.

I miss Warren at the St Anthony Park Home happy hours. He would sing along to the music, hum or whistle. He enjoyed the music and knew so many golden oldies. He had a positive attitude
in life. I will always miss him sitting behind me at the piano.

I remember dear warren asthewhite hair learned gentleman. We did some interpretive reading and I remember how lovingly he talked about his KiKi.. my sincere sympathy. Edie Cole

I knew Warren from the early days of the International Listening Association and always enjoyed our conversations at the conventions. It was a delight twice when he and his brother, Norm, came to La Crosse for our annual jazz fest. Of course we took time to chat at that event.

I will miss him and I send my thoughts and prayers to his wife and other family members.

Tom E. Wirkus, Professor Emeritus, Univ. of WI-La Crosse

I send my condolences with much sadness in my heart to hear about Warren's passing. I wish I would have known at the time.
He was a life long ILA friend and we always had great times together.
He was one of those long lost listening scholars from the U of M campus During the times of the likes of Ralph Nichols and Manny Steil. Everyone should have his loyalty and committment that he showed to everything and everyone he was involved in. Another good man has left us but I am grateful...

Warren was always a fixture at the International Listening Association. I spent a number of sessions with him, and he always had a significant comment to make. I consider him an anchor of the organization. We will miss him. May his family and closest friends be comforted in his passing.

The world was fortunate to have such a wonderful and soft souls as Warren's. He will always be remembered with fondness and love.
