Not sure what to say?

Pam and family. I was so saddened to learn of Warren´s passing. He should have had many more years ahead of him. I grew with Warren and we were great friends all the way through our attending KU. One of my main memories is that Warren and I would race each block on our way to Cordley grade school. As I recall we were pretty well matched so it was never certain would would win. As you probably recall, Pam, one of my last memories of Warren was visiting you both in Nashville. A highlight of...

I sang with Warren in church choir for many years and while out paths headed in different directions, we did run into each other occasionally (TEC) when my kids attended, etc. He left a lasting impression due to his kindness, helpfulness, etc. etc. and I was hoping to run into him at Hope Lutheran as we are joining there, but turned out not to be the case. He has been in my thoughts and prayers for some time and while he will be missed, he is in a much better place. Pam: My prayers and...

RE: Commitment Line: On Easter Sunday the Lord took Warren from us, but not away from us. The Lord needed a Good Captain, Teammate and a Starting Pitcher. In Senior Softball approximately 10 Feet in Front of Homeplate is a Commitment Line. Most of us Ole´ Boys are currently Rounding 3rd but haven´t quite crossed the line. Well Warren did! Warren was aided by the 3rd Base Coach Graham Stroud. For those of you that don´t know Ole´ Graham would Run a Guy home who would have 2 Broken Legs...

I am for former Helen Pendleton. I was so surprised and sad to hear of Warren's passing. My older brother, Steve Pendleton, and Warren were best friends for many decades. They were both excellent runners. I remember Warren as kind, soft-spoken, cheerful, handsome, and smart. I was glad to read from his obituary that he was a strong Christian. That is always the most important thing! May the peace of Jesus Christ comfort all who mourn and give them His peace, which passes understanding.

Warren and I spent many hours running around the track field together at Lawrence High School. Warren was a true friend and a great guy. Glad to see that he was so active in his church, community and a dedicated family man.

Pam, I am so sorry to learn of Warren's passing. So many many years have gone by, and I have never stopped missing you. Warren's obituary sounds like you have both lived full, productive, and enjoyable lives, and I'm confident you'll continue to do so! If you're ever back in Kansas (we are still in Lawrence) I hope we can be in touch. Many hugs!

Herta and I are greatly saddened by the recent news of Warren´s passing. We, as many others, learned to know Warren and Pam through senior softball. Both were instrumental in doing the work that enabled the rest of us to enjoy our senior softball careers. I will miss my friend and teammate, and I am grateful that softball provided the opportunity for Herta and me to become friends with Pam and Warren. We pray that the grief being experienced by Pam and family will be assuaged by their ...

Pam and family, Our hearts are sad to hear of the passing of Warren. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Warren will be missed dearly during the softball season as he certainly loved this game. I'm sure that he is resting in the arms of God. Sending you our love.
