Warren Henderson

Warren Henderson, 93, a minister in the Church of God in Christ, perfected his praise of Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Celebration of life: Noon Saturday, June 21, at Rising Star COGIC, 3909 Reed St., Superintendent E. Charles Barrett host pastor and Superintendent Vincent Z. Wilson eulogistic comforter. Interment: Skyvue. Visitation: 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at historic Baker Funeral Home. He was born Sept. 17, 1920, in Buckholts. Survivors: Son, Warren Henderson Jr. (Beulah); daughters, Sonja H. Freeman of Round Rock and Johnnie Faye Williams; other sons, George F. Jones, M.D., (Cynthia) of Frisco and Larry E. Jones; sisters, Versie Burns of Silver Springs, Md., and Mable Hart of Pittsburg, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
