To my cousins Carol, Susan and Glenn and your families, I send my heartfelt sympathy. Your dad was my first true love. Uncle Warren's good looks and lyrical voice always made me swoon. I have pictures of him as a handome soldier in his navy uniform with me as a toddler up on the rooftop in Brooklyn where Grandma Betty Asplund Herrick lived. I still cherish a silver bracelet he made for me when I was a young girl. I know we will all miss him terribly, but he will live on in our memories and...

Dear Family: I'm very grateful to LouBette for forwarding me the information about Warren's death. His photo showed his vibrance for life. Granny was our connection to the Herrick family. She married John, Aunt Betty's brother. We lived in East Brunswick, NJ, and our families would visit periodically so contact was never lost. It was exciting and fun. I recall handsome pictures of Warren in uniform and that he was always spoken of warmly. Please know that you, too, will be thought of that...
