Warren JOHNSON

I Warren when everyone in the Miracle Lane area of Dayton View area of Dayton called him Gene. I knew him when I was in the 4th grade of school and Gene was in the 6th grade of school at Fairport Elementary
in Dayton. I played on a PAL basketball team (Police Athletic League) at
the Fairview Elementary gym in 1955. In our neighborhood Gene developed a skill of making sling shots for boys. A boy was proud to have a Gene Johnson sling shot proudly displayed hanging in your rear...

I knew Warren for many years and he and I spent a lot of time together. He was ine kind hearted man and boy did we have fun on Friday and Saturday nights. When he moved from Centervile to go stay with his son Brent a piece of me went with him. After his move he came back for a couple visits and would stay with me. He loved fishing and his boat. I will always hold him in my heart. I miss you my friend.

Gene was truly a genuine nice guy, and I'm honored to have known him as a friend. RIP "Oink".
