Warren L. Mason

I just learned tonight that Warren passed away. My mom, Paula McDonald and ex-husband, Scott Wiseman, were caregivers for Warren several years ago. I used to stop by and visit now and then and always appreciated his sense of humor and the interesting stories he would tell. My mom really adored him and his family. She passed away last year and I'm sure Warren picked right up where he had left off giving her a hard time :-)

I was a caregiver for Warren for 4 years and we had many discussions about just about everything you could imagine--from making lye soap to NASCAR to pretty girls to my cooking (!!) to politics and to the meaning of life. No matter how serious we may have gotten, he always slipped in a "Warren-ism" or two that showed his great sense of humor and that I still quote to this day, amusing my friends. Grandpa Mason is finally with God and his loving wife and beautiful daughter. I know heaven is rejoicing as he will add to their faithful. His warm smile will be missed here on earth. What a blessing it was to know him !
