Not sure what to say?

Dear Margie:
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Warren was an AWESOME pianist and I am priviledged to have been able to work with him subbing on drums at the Lakeside Inn. Many musicians and music lovers will miss him dearly.
Sincerely,

Margie.....
Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss! Warren was one of my best friends in life! We shared so many fun times together! He was working with Ernie in Chicago when our daughter was born and he was the first to see her! The two guys rushed home to East Moline and Warren just couldn't get over seeing a newborn! Ernie and Warren had so many wonderful 'gigs' together! Their music was heaven to my ears! I don't know if you knew that Ernie passed away on June...

Margie,

What wonderful memories Charlie and I have of Warren's wonderful music. He had a great talent and oh, how we loved his music. We shall play those tapes on forever, just as you shared them with us.

I remember one night at the Lakeside Inn, sitting on the piano bench with him, asking, "Just how do you do this....play such wonderful music? Do you plan ahead what you are going to do?"

He answered simply with his nice smile, "No plan, I just do it. It is...

What a player he was. You name it. Pretty things,Jazz, swing, classics. He played it all and very well. Margie, you have our deepest sympathy on your loss. Bet his dog wonders where he is (he and I were big dog lovers. I remember his dog "Pooper"). I also remember back in QC's I sang New York, New York with him. After finishing the song he said to me, "Marlin, do me a favor" I said "of course Warren, what is it?' He said "don't ever sing that song again". He was right as it was pretty bad....

Dear Margie, Please accept my very sincere sympathy in your loss. Warren was a one of a kind guy, and he surely was a wonderful musician. I was so very privileged to have played music with him at Hunters for 12 or 13 years. May he rest in peace. He is being mourned by many. You have been a true blessing in his life. May God be with you now, and strengthen you.
Sincerely, Bob Cook
