Warren Clyde Powell Jr.

Warren was a kind and caring person. Our prayers are with his family.

I am so very sorry. This is a great loss to our community and to so many. He had a great life, for sure.

Please accept my condolences and regrets that I will be unable to attend Warren´s funeral as I will be in court in Dillon County.

Warren and I were Law School classmates. So far as I know, ours was the largest class that ever attended, but Warren stood out. I remember particularly his kindness and great sense of humor. He added much to the Bar and will be missed.

My family moved to Columbia in 1966 and I attended Hand Junior High School in the 8th grade . I met Warren and many others in my first year while living on 3004 Wilmot Ave . Dear Adelaid, Mike, Kay , and family. Warren was a one of a kind person. He was brilliant funny, kind and very giving. I have known his family since High School and kept up with him as his office was next door to the Elite. He has left a beautiful legacy. May his memory be eternal.
