Read MoreWarren was a friend to me when I needed one. He was a mentor, spiritual guide and friend. We enjoyed pie and coffee and conversation often. He really listened and cared about my life. The conversation always ended up back to the love of his family. He was a true gentleman and I will never forget him.

Warren was a big influence on me early in my career. I took classes from him at Sac State and he directed a county demonstration school in which I taught.
