Was thinking about "Uncle Dick" today after a visit home to St. Louis, and couldn't help looking up his old yearbook photos. No surprise he was voted Most Fun. A little surprised about Pep Club. We miss him!!! <3

The two photos are from 2010, when Dick was more "himself." The top photo, in B&W, is from Alton, Illinois, across the Missouri River from Saint Louis, That's a life-sized statue of Abraham Lincoln. Dick didn't hesitate when I suggested that he pose with Abe. The bottom photo, in color, was taken in his former home on Ladue Road in Creve Coeur. The house was sold in 2022 and, regrettably, razed by new owners, who built a new house on the magnificent lot. Here's the Lincoln shot in color. ---...
