Hixson Brothers - Alexandria Obituary

Services for Mr. Warren W. Steadman will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Darrell Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.

The family requests that visitation be observed Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mr. Warren W. Steadman, 81, of Pineville passed peacefully from this life Monday, June 8, 2015 at his residence.

He was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church. During his working career he was an agent for Allstate Insurance. Mr. Steadman proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, during the Korean Conflict

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elouise White Steadman; son, Herbert Steadman; parents, Edwin Irving and Elizabeth Ware Steadman; brother Edwin ?Bud? Steadman; sisters, Eugenia ?Gene? Brockway and Elizabeth ?Betty? Lohman.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Russell Steadman; daughters, Kay Steadman, Sue Robbins, Sharon Davis, Arlene Clark; step-daughter, Beth Arsenault; brother, Wayne Steadman; sister, Hazel Nix; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Barry Pinion, James White, Casey Clark, Joe Lohman, Joe Robbins, Don Eyer and Mark Eichelberger.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, National Processing Center, P. O. Box 758540, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8540.
