WASHINGTON WONG

Felicia and family, Wash was one of the two most influential individuals who shaped my career. We shall miss Wash and the lunches we shared with you when we were in Maryland. God bless and comfort your family.

We will miss the good times we had with Wash and Felicia, visiting each others home or meeting at luncheons and sharing stories of Okinawa, Hawaii and our families. On one memorable occasion when we visited them the evening before moving to Europe, Sumiko forgot her purse at their place. We had to drive all the way back to Ellicott City from Fairfax and wake a sleepy Wash at 2 in the morning to retrieve it. Since then their goodbyes were, "Don't forget your purse."

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My godfather will forever live in my heart.

Mrs. Wong, Francis and Family, We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Wong's passing. He was such a delight to see when we were living in VA! I miss seeing him over at the house visiting and telling his stories. Yasurakani onemuri kudasai. (Rest in Peace)
