Not sure what to say?

It is so difficult to word the loss of my son, Daniel. It is easy to describe Danny's unselfish, loving personality. All comments (printed or spoken)from his associates, friends and neighbors are from the same page. This gives great comfort knowing you knew him as we did. Danny was happy making other people happy. His love and smile will be missed by us all.
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Waylon Burks

To all who have shared their thoughts of Dan, the family thanks you so much. The kind memories and feelings shared by all of you are so reflective of Dan and his philosophy of life. Even in his passing, his pets were his priority. The past friends and new ones we have met during this time share one common thread, they knew Dan as we did, a kind and loving spirit that never had any priority other than living for the moment. Rest peacfully our brother, for you deserve it!

Daniel was our brother. Such a kind and gentle man. We had the time of our lives when we went to Cape Cod. He will be in my heart forever.

I am so sorry to hear of Daniels death. He was a very warm hearted soul that was a great volunteer and friend to the palliative care program at UAB. He will be missed by many folks.

Daniel and I met at Arman's but continued our friendship long after we both left. Daniel made me laugh, listened to me cry, and was one of the most kind-hearted people I have known. I am deeply saddened that he is gone, but I am so grateful to have had him in my life. To Daniel's family - my thoughts are with you.

I met Daniel through my roommates and best friends who worked at Arman's with him more years ago than I can believe have passed. Daniel was always quick with a smile and just might have possibly had the biggest heart of anyone I've met. When my father was rushed to the emergency room in Tuscaloosa, Daniel drove me there and waited with me and my mother all night - even though he had to work the next day. That's the kind of sacrifice that he never hesitated to make if he was needed. The...

Daniel and I were friends many years ago. We worked together at Arman's and remained friends for years after. We had a lot of good times together and he was greatly loved by his friends. To Daniel's family - you will be in my prayers and I am so sorry for your loss.

I met Daniel through Ruth's Chris. Daniel was a kind and thoughtful man whom will be missed by many.Bless Daniel's family and we celebrate his life.
