When this memorial came up in my email, I signed...sat still for a minute, and then I smiled..I smiled because I remembered by First Roommate and dear friend Waylon T. Sims...Never met a more sincere, authentic, sincere and kind brother. Waylon was just Good People! I will always remember our laughs, talks we had walking to The Dining Hall, him coming in from Band Practice his freshman year, his love of Mobile, the respect, love and admiration he had for his mother and family and I could go...

To the Family of Waylon T. Sims, My Deepest condolences on the passing of your son and brother Waylon. My heart is heavy as I extend to you my heartfelt sympathy to each of you. I pray that GOD will comfort and strengthen you in this time of bereavement. Waylon was a good friend and roommate in college to me.
