Waymon Thomas "Tommy" Covington

I only knew Tommy for 10 years or so. We met through his dear friend Mab Crew In jasper Alabama. I enjoyed our visits when he came to jasper. His first stop was at the thrift store.. haha! If you knew tommy you know what I mean! I have kept intouch since our dear friend passed. When I didn´t reco my book mark for Christmas I knew something was wrong. I have email a few times and no response. So I looked up his home town and was shocked and saddened to see that he had passed away..

Tommy was my mother, Betty Flurry's best friend. When she moved to Ripley and got her job at the library(her dream job). She and Tommy became fast friends. Tommy welcomed her back to work following a brain anyurism. This, I truly feel saved her life. Maybe not physically but emotionally. He gave her hope,encouragement and a purpose in life. Thank you Tommy, I know the heavens are celebrating your arrival. I'm sure Momma & Daddy are treating you with open arms.
