We are saddened to learn of Wayne's death. Though we didn't know him in his active ministry, we at First Methodist, Pompano, were the beneficiaries of his pastoral way, and his teaching. Our love and sympathy to all the family.

On behalf of John Knox Village I want to express our deepest sympathy to Marylynn and the Bantz family in the death of this special man. We at John Knox Village in Pompano Beach have benefited in recent years from Wayne's selfless ministry each Sunday to our Health Center residents. We had the privilege to honor him at one of our Chapel services last October, but he really did not seek out recognition. He just went about ministering to people.
